Works from the collection of the Brandenburg State Museum of Modern Art

The exhibition is dedicated to questions of identity-forming moments in fictional-imaginary pictorial narratives. The photographs and photo/paintings on display often refer to fairy tales and myths. At the center of the (pictorial) interest are the story and historical charges as well as the projection of the uncanny, but also the peculiarly familiar that is inherent in the experience and perception of nature and landscapes, but also urban spaces.

With works by Samuel Beckett, Anna and Bernhard Blume, Andreas Gursky, Alexander Janetzko, York der Knöfel, Kubiak & Rauch, Ulrich Lindner, Ana Zibelnik & Jakob Ganslmeier.

Admission costs € 4.00, concessions € 2.00.
