Winter Festival of Lights

Illumination of the New Palace with music, hot food and drinks and a lantern walk through Muskauer Park

Light and color are the key figures that transform the bleak uniform darkness of the park into a radiant backdrop. Lanterns will become wandering points of light, starting from the Old Palace, the Orangery, the World's End, the church ruins and the pavilion on the Polish side of the park. From there they will roam the park from 6.30 pm, the lanterns are available from 6.00 pm, free of charge and according to color preference. The destination is the New Palace, enthroned in vibrant colors above the surrounding, equally radiant buildings and groves. A true blaze of color, surrounded by the glowing ribbons of the lantern processions - just as fascinating from a distance as it is up close.

On the castle meadow, hikers can enjoy warm food and drinks and lively music, which will make even the last dark winter days pass by more ligther.
